Here’s the first trailer for “Welcome To Me”, the story of Alice Klieg, a woman suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder who wins big at the lottery, and decide to quit her meds and buy her own talk-show, starring Linda Cardellini, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Tim Robbins, and, of course, Wes.

The movie premiered at the Toronto and Vancouver Film Festivals last year, and was presented at the Istanbul International film festival in late January.  The reviews were, so far, mixed to good, scoring a good 7.3 out of ten on IMDB. As the main character, Kristen Wiig is seen on what appeared as a “SNL sketch on steroids, funny but sometimes cringe-worthy” (http://freshfromthetheatre.com/tiff-2014-review-welcome/), while others hailed “an appealing yet low-key comedy” (http://reelfilm.com/tiff1405.htm#welcome). Row Three has felt the movie uncomfortable, yet they loved this feeling thoroughly : “Welcome To Me is really funny but don’t be fooled because it also goes to some very, very dark places and provides a fascinating insight into a woman suffering from mental illness and how that affects the people around her” (http://www.rowthree.com/2014/10/15/viff-2014-review-welcome-to-me/). On the overall, the film ranked an average of three stars out of five, and some critics pointed at some strong references clearly made during the movie, such as The Truman Show and Network.

The movie is going to be released in limited theaters in USA on May 1st, and hopefully, worldwide later this year.
